Camping on Newcastle Island.
We returned to Nanaimo for Jennifer’s days off. Mae, Jennifer and Rose camped overnight on New Castle Island. The camping experience was not one of those typical quiet nights of listening to the owls, birds, crickets etc. We
were listening to campers setting off fire works, music blaring from a wedding and other campers with music on.
Jennifer and Mae spent the evening cozy in the tent with Rose, who slept quite soundly at Mae’s feet. They played cards, drank beer and ate pistachio nuts.
