Fall is just around the corner in Retreat Cove. Can you find the heron standing so still?
After we picked up our crab trap, the wind picked up and we
sailed all the way to Montague Harbour on Galiano. 
While we were sailing, Sea Snaps Marine Photography Ltd, a pink
boat, came zipping over to take photos of our boat under sail. They made several approaches capturing
several shots. We met Maria Steernberg
(a lifetime mariner on the West Coast of BC) in Nanaimo public docks back in
2010. Throughout the year, the Sea Snaps
vessel can be found cruising coastal waters and capturing ‘Kodak moments.’ 
Rose being very helpful with the sheets while we were under
sail.
Montague Harbour is one of the busiest and most popular
harbours in the Gulf Coast.
Montague Harbour has a well maintained site for camping,
picnics and trails to walk along. We
walked to a beautiful beach on yet another hot and sunny day.
