The day began with a dinghy ride with our furry creatures to
an exposed rock with a beach…a perfect island for Sugar.
Sugar meowed for much of our time there, wondering where all
the trees were, as previous islands had lots of trees to climb and scratch.
We could have sat there for hours but with the rising tide,
we would be underwater.
The afternoon was spent walking around the island. The trails were well maintained and
scenic. Our walk around De Courcy took
us to Pirate’s Cove where we left a message in the treasure box. We initially planned to anchor in the Cove
but the Northeasterly winds prevented us.
The view within the forest and out towards the
water was spectacular!
Experimenting with black and white photography.
