Tuwartz Inlet August 3

August 3rd was another nice, hot day.  The mornings are particularly pleasant where we can sit at the bow to read. Marty and Mae took turns being on watch (in charge of navigating and operating the sailboat while the other is on a break).

Mae enjoyed snoozing at the bow on her break.

Tuwartz Inlet is on the south end of Pitt Island.  This anchorage provided good protection from winds from different directions.  On this day, we did not get the afternoon winds as we did on previous days.

We found our first sandy beach where we had a quick swim to cool off.   We later dropped a crab trap and got two crabs.
