After leaving Hartley Bay, we
tied up to an old fishing lodge dock in Barnard Harbour. There were several huge boats docked there
as well. Sugar was a hit and was
photographed a lot. Sugar enjoyed her
dinghy ride with Rose. She stayed close
to Rose. Sugar was having a bad fur day
during the dinghy ride.
Heading back to a dock full of
boats.
Selfies with the pets in
Cameron Bay (inside Barnard Harbour). We
heard stories about a very BIG Black Grizzly bear that roams in the bay. This grizzly had chased after a canoeist
with his dog barking madly and it also killed another man’s dog. So, needless to say, we didn’t go too close
to shore.
To finish our stay at Barnard
Harbour, we were greeted by a mama humpback and her calf, as they entered the
Harbour early Wednesday morning (Aug. 6).
