August 13 Codville to Pruth Bay (Calvert Island)

Fog-gust August!  The mornings have been foggy, so we were not in a rush to leave. Travelling in the fog without a radar is not fun.  We can poke our way along the shoreline but we don't like to cross a channel in the fog.   In this photo, can you see Marty in the dinghy?

Since we were not in a rush, we had pancakes cooked in a muffin tin, bacon and fresh fruit salad with our  freshly perked coffee.

After breakfast, we went in our dinghy to pull up our prawn traps. Finding our trap was not easy in the fog as it was slowly lifting an our trap was hidden amongst other peoples'  traps.

Yum!  Yum! We were thinking of all the ways we can have prawns.   The first thing  we did...

...have the prawns with garlic butter:)

Rose is getting excited about going to Pruth Harbour.

What's waiting for us at Pruth Harbour? Oh YUMMY! Salmon and prawn salad rolls with lime drizzling sauce and a special dipping sauce.
