August 10-11 Still Hanging out & Meeting More Friends & meeting Rupert Sailors

Who says a "Happy Meal " is for kids? Mae made a "Happy Meal" for Marty's breakfast.  Our traditional way of having breakfast has always been bacon and eggs with toast.  This time Mae lined the muffin tins with bread and placed cooked bacon around the inside and cracked an egg inside.  Then add some salt, pepper and green Tabasco sauce and popped them in the oven to cook until the eggs were done the way one likes.

It can be exciting hanging in the hammock when a plane is landing.

August 10 was a very hot day that Marty jumped off the boat and surprisingly, it wasn't freezing cold.  Mae jumped in with her duck feet and found the salt water refreshing.  After swimming, we had refreshing solar showers.

Guess who we found? Tom & Deb Taylor from Prince Rupert.  They sailed SV Altair, a 70 ft -1916 Alden (almost a century old).  They are returning home from their trip south.
