After leaving Oliver Cove, we
traveled through Reid Passage. Boaters
would call in to let on-coming traffic know that they are transiting through
the narrows
We headed out into Seaforth
Channel to catch our dinner. We fished
around Ivory Island Lighthouse station for much longer than we had planned, as
Mae was having a really tough time catching a salmon this time. It took seven attempts to finally land
dinner. The first six times, the “big
one(s) got away.
Guess who we found in
Shearwater? Joe Meggison!
We also found Barry
Cunningham! Joe and Barry are from Prince Rupert and were on board
on the coast guard boat North Rock.
