August 12 Shearwater to Codville Lagoon (King Island)

After chilling out for a few days at Shearwater, we were ready for our next leg of adventures.  We heard so much about Codville Lagoon, especially about the great prawning, that we had to spend a night there.  After dropping the prawn traps on the way in, we caught up with Gary & Jeanie from SV Bluesky.  We were so glad that Gary convinced us to go walk up to the lake for a swim with a couple of cold drinks.  The view was spectacular and the feel of real sand between your toes was wonderful!

A great way to have our cold drinks, was to sit in the water after a swim.

Ahhh, this is the life!

The path to and from the lake was well maintained by volunteers from Ocean Falls.

Walking in the woods was a nice change from walking around and around  and up and down on our sailboat.
