Visiting Dodge Cove & Port Edward July 28

It's ALL ABOUT THE PETS Today!
Our trip over to Dodge Cove was gentle for the pets.

Follow the leader:  There will be no problem bringing Sugar sailing as she follows us everywhere we go!

Our traditional Dodge Cove photo op.  for newcomers including the furry ones.  Sugar checked out Wendy's chickens (who were not impressed) and tried to chase down a toad but the netting stopped her.

The voice of Sugar "Ohhhh! Why are we healing over so much?"  Sugar is sitting on the low side as we are heeled over about 20% as our genoa was partially reefed with winds over 20 knots and the seas very lumpy.  We decided to dock in Port Edward and get hauled out on Wednesday.  There was no point in beating into the wind and rain. The pets agreed, too.

Dock life suits Sugar & Rose. Sugar follows Rose everywhere.

Spot Google Map Location

When you click on our sailboat, you will get a "Spot Check Map" like this.  You can view our location by clicking onto "map" or "satellite."  Maybe you can find our house.  Below is a satellite version:

Sugar is on Board

Silan helped bring Sugar on board.   Sugar is making herself comfortable on board.  We plan to leave on Monday, July 28 for a few days.  Then we will return to Port Edward to get the boat hauled out to get surveyed for insurance purposes.  After  our same day haul out and return to water, we will make our way slowly south.  Stay tuned for further updates!
